Meet the Team

OwnersMark and Doreen Johnson

Mark and Dorean,  have each previously owned and operated  small businesses through the years. Mark, who moved from Michigan to Colorado in 1991,  is a typical owner, and has been working on his own cars as a hobbyist starting with his first car, a model A Ford. Mark and Dorean are auto enthusiasts, having owned many classics ranging from the 20′s to the 80′s. Currently, they own a fleet of various vehicles including a ’57 Chevy Bel Air, ’65 Ford Ranch Wagon, and recently “took over” Grampa’s ’81 El Camino. Mark and Dorean are officers and members of the veteran Motor Car Club, Loveland Chapter, the Vintage Chevy Club of America and the Crown Victoria Association.

Service Manager: Brandon Pursley

Brandon Pursley has been with Gilsdorf Garage since 2001, and loves coming to work to see our customers and the new adventures they bring us.  Brandon is a local guy, born and raised right here in Fort Collins.  Has loved working on cars and trucks since he was a child helping his dad with his trucking company maintenance, and the family vehicles.  Brandon has a wife and 3 children, two of which are twins, so yeah he has his hands full!.  Brandon now spends his free time with his growing family, and if there is any left over he is busy performing restorations on Camaros, or showing and racing his beloved 1991 Camaro Z28.

Service Adviser: Colin Casey

Colin has be wonderful asset to our business since 2013.  He is no stranger to Fort Collins and has lived here since he was 8 years old.  So of course he has been long time friends with Brandon, and many other Fort Collins residents.  Colin is married and has 3 pups the love like children. Colin and his wife have a passion for  import performance events, and vintage Japanese import vehicles. VTEC for life…

Technicians: Shadow Harmon

Shadow Harmon has been a great addition to the Gilsdorf Garage crew and has been a gear head as long as he can remember.  Shadow has a wife and one child that they adore and spent most of their free time together.  When he can he loves to drive and enjoy his 1998 Camaro Z28 that he recently finished an engine swap on.

Otto Arnesen

Otto is a master technician with many years in various facets of the automotive repair industry, from working on race teams, to building and tuning race car, to building and fabricating offroad vehicles, to service and maintenance of everyday vehicles.

Justin Belcher

Justin Belcher

Justin come from Florida and has brought a great wealth of knowledge from his other shop experiences through the years, and with restoration projects of over 22 Firebirds to date!!!!
